product development, and distribution.SummaryThe Key Account
Manager (KAM) will create value for SGS and the Business Units
through growth in sales and margins with large strategic customers.
The KAM will seek to add new large accounts thru prospecting in
areas that can be serviced by SGS supply points. Clear, transparent
communication with the Business Unit and Division leadership along
with alignment of strategy is imperative. This role is responsible
for serving as the day-to-day contact in supporting the client
relationship and deliverables. This individual will provide
excellent client service and effectively manage multiple projects
with a high degree of confidence, independence, and sound
judgment.Key Responsibilities Responsible for profitable growth of
accounts deemed to be strategic and key within a specific region of
the country or accounts that have been specifically designated to
them Drive the product mix that aligns with the SGS product
strategy as designated by the Product Management/Procurement Team
Responsible for establishing sales strategies/tactics and
coordinating/collaborating with the Sales Team on plans for sales
growth and hitting specific product volume targets. Direct sales
efforts for large key accounts including pricing Plans and
evaluates annual sales plan and expense plan for each key customer
Measure sales performance in relation to recommended incentive
plans Prepares annual sales forecasts, budgets and sales programs
that aligns with company direction and volume targets Collaborates
with Strategic Suppliers to gain leverage with key accounts as well
as creating operating efficiencies Inform management of market
trends and competitor activities and other emerging issuesTypical
EducationBachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or
university
Relevant Experience 10+ years related experience and/or
trainingOther InformationSuccessful track record in Account
Management, National Account Management preferred. Analytical
skills and ability to use complex data to identify insights,
trends, business opportunities and customer solutions. Sensory
