This is a golden opportunity with a very reputable and stable company here in Newport News- immediate need!!!

Permanent position that would work 8-5

Duties

Deltek/NAV

Maintain accounting files

Post payroll journal entry

Reconcile payroll to Labor Distribution

Reconcile Labor Distribution to 941 Prepare month end accrual journal entries

Sub-Ledger to General Ledger reconciliation

Bank and Credit Card account reconciliations

Preparation of draft month end financial statements

Update of Financial Excel Workbook

Assistance with Indirect Rate tracking and reporting

Assistance with budget preparation and reporting

Maintain the Fixed Asset and depreciation schedules, insure proper recording of new purchases and

disposals.

Prepare Personal Property Tax Returns

Prepare Business License Renewal

Interact and support Contract Accountant as needed

Back up for Accounts Payable

Ensure compliance with GAAP and DCAA regulations

Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be Required from time to time to work overtime often on short notice - by the CFO.
