Senior Associate EditorRole Summary:As a Senior Associate Editor
at Practical Law, you will collaborate with US and global
colleagues to interpret and explain legal developments in antitrust
law. This role involves researching, drafting, and updating legal
resources, as well as monitoring market developments to provide
valuable insights to legal professionals.Practical Law is a leading
online know-how service providing rigorous, peer-reviewed
resources, such as practice notes, current awareness, and standard
documents to help legal professionals work smarter and advise with

compliance, government and media.About the RoleIn this role as
Senior Associate Editor at Practical Law, you
will:Responsibilities
- Research, draft, edit, and update core antitrust legal know-how
resources.
- Review and edit content for databases that track antitrust
risk-shifting provisions in merger agreements and federal merger
enforcement actions.
- Update legislation and case trackers.
- Monitor and identify relevant legal and practice developments
in the US.
- Write, edit, and publish legal updates on antitrust
topics.
- Liaise with external law firm contributors.
- Collaborate on editorial, feature development, and other
projects with colleagues across Practical Law and Thomson
Reuters.
- Support AI initiatives, including training AI for use in
products and validating model performance.
- Provide additional support, as needed, including non-content
tasks, and editorial support for Senior Specialist Legal
Editors.About You:You're a fit for the role of Senior Associate
Editor at Practical Law, if you have:Requirements
- A J.D. and current license to practice law in at least one US
jurisdiction.
- At least two years of experience working as an attorney or
legal editor. Antitrust experience preferred.
- Enthusiasm and ambition, with a desire to learn and to improve
the efficiency of legal services, including through AI.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high
standards of accuracy.
- Comfort with technology and ability to adapt to new technology
quickly.
- Ability to organize and present information in a clear and
structured manner.
- Ability to work efficiently and within deadlines and
communicate effectively across teams.
- Ability to collaborate with and support team members in a

disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base
compensation range varies across locations.
Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of
the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or
Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range
for the role in any of those locations is $80,640 - $149,760.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base
compensation range for this role is $70,000 - $130,000.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a
combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors
including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with
consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a
comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and
supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
