professional services firm in Washington, DC is seeking a Legal
Billing Coordinator to join its collaborative billing team. This
position is responsible for preparing and processing client
invoices, working closely with attorneys and staff to ensure
accurate and timely billing. This is an excellent opportunity for
someone with law firm billing experience or an accounting
background, as well as recent graduates interested in starting a
career in legal billing. Key Responsibilities · Prepare and process
client invoices in accordance with firm policies and client billing
guidelines · Review billing for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
with attorneys and staff · Track billing deadlines to ensure timely
invoice submission · Respond to billing inquiries from attorneys
and clients · Assist with billing reports and tracking billing
activity · Support billing process improvements and special
projects as needed Qualifications · Associate’s or Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
· Law firm billing experience is helpful but not required ·
Experience with Aderant, Elite, or other billing systems is a plus
(training available) · Strong attention to detail and
organizational skills · Excellent communication and problem-solving
abilities · Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment Work Schedule Hybrid schedule with a combination of
in-office and remote work. Candidates must be located in the
