School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school
psychologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 academic
calendar year within a Virginia Beach area elementary school. This
contract position, running from January 5 to June 16, 2026, invites
candidates seeking full or part-time roles to support young
learners in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities include: - Conducting psychological assessments
tailored to elementary-aged students - Participating fully in
meetings such as ARD, reevaluation, and IEP sessions -
Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement
strategies that promote student success - Managing a caseload
aligned with district guidelines (details currently under review)
Qualifications: - Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist -
Active Department of Education certification - Willingness to work
within the elementary school day from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM - Open to
recent graduates and experienced professionals with 0 years of
relevant experience This position supports the developmental,
emotional, and academic needs of students through comprehensive
testing and consultative services. Assignments will vary by school,
offering a diverse and engaging caseload within the Chesapeake
