Job Description Job Description Child Care Teacher – Direct Hire Richmond, VA (23298) Full-Time | Mon–Fri Salary: $38,000 – $48,000/year Role Overview We are seeking passionate Child Care Teachers to support children ages 6 weeks to 6 years using the Reggio Emilia educational approach . This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability and growth within a collaborative teaching environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate, creative lesson plans Foster a safe, engaging, and development-focused classroom Support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and motor development Document daily progress and communicate with families Maintain classroom cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in meetings and training Required Qualifications Associate degree or HS Diploma with 40 hours of ECE coursework 2 years’ experience working with children (6 weeks–6 years) Ability to work in a fast-paced, child-centered environment Preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s in Early Childhood or Elementary Education CDA Certification Experience with or knowledge of the Reggio approach Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
