Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is currently available
for a contract role based in Mechanicsville, VA, serving the
Richmond area. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work
within a dynamic school environment, providing speech and language
support to students of various ages and caseloads. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology
services to students across multiple schools. - Collaborate with
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and onsite
facilitators to support student progress. - Assess, diagnose, and
treat speech and language disorders. - Develop individualized
treatment plans and document progress. - Work closely with
educators, parents, and other professionals to promote effective
communication strategies. Qualifications and Experience: - Masters
degree in Speech-Language Pathology. - Active Virginia SLP license.
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads including various age groups.
- Experience working in school settings preferred. - Strong
communication and collaboration skills. Location and Hours: - Based
in Mechanicsville, VA, covering schools within the Richmond area. -
Full-time position with hours aligned to the school calendar. -
