supporting the Air Force Operational Medicine Information Systems
(AFOMIS) Program Office efforts in providing health-related
Information Management/ Information Technology (IM/IT) services
support to deployed Airmen and collocated personnel. The support
includes Medical Expeditionary Systems (MEDXS), medical waivers
workflow management, Expeditionary Health Data Store (EHDS),
medical analytics dashboards, integrated IM/IT testing capability,
medical operations; expeditionary deployment operations and
installation contingency response; planning; training; and
readiness support functions. In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of Health IT projects, from
concept through deployment and sustainment, ensuring alignment with
timelines, budgets, and objectives.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans including scope,
schedule, and resource allocation; adjust plans as needed to
respond to challenges.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external
stakeholders, including military clients and contractors, ensuring
alignment on objectives and expectations.
- Provide regular stakeholder updates, resolve scope issues, and
ensure client satisfaction through transparent communication and
timely delivery.
- Oversee the development, integration, and sustainment of
medical waivers workflow systems and analytics dashboards to
support mission-critical healthcare operations.
- Manage testing and integration of IM/IT systems in physical and
virtual environments; monitor performance and lead continuous
improvement efforts.
- Provide leadership for the deployment and sustainment of TMIP
systems in remote and deployed military locations; troubleshoot
operational or technical issues.
- Collaborate with military stakeholders to tailor IT solutions
to the dynamic needs of military medical operations.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to technical, resource, or
operational challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
- Resolve project execution issues using sound problem-solving
and decision-making skills.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, current, and
compliant with organizational and security standards.
- Enforce adherence to security protocols and clearance
requirements across team members and systems.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.What experience,
training, and education do I need? You must meet the minimum
requirements:
- Active Secret clearance
- 10+ years of experience in managing the development and
sustainment of:
- Medical waivers, workflow systems, and medical analytics
dashboards in an enterprise environment
- Integrated IM/IT testing capability in physical and virtual
environments
- On-site and remote medical operations support for TMIP systems
at deployed locations
- Able to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
preferred.Where is the client site that I would be working for? You
will be working remote and on-site in the National Capital Region
(NCR) and Falls Church, VA, address disclosed after your clearance
