Overview
Liberty University partners with nearly 100 Flight Training Affiliates (FTA) nationwide to enable online Champions for Christ to fulfill FAA flight training requirements without visiting the residential campus. The Director of Affiliate Operations collaborates with the School of Aeronautics leadership to oversee all aspects of FTA operations, including team management, business development, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Manage a team to deliver excellent customer service to students and FTAs.
  
• Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with FAA, VA, SAA, and School of Aeronautics policies.
  
• Plan and execute on-site visits with FTAs to strengthen business and online student relationships, which requires regular travel.
  
• Create and pursue strategic plans for future FTA partnerships.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
• Adhere strictly to Liberty University policies and represent the university professionally.
  
• Collaborate effectively as part of the team, supporting LU's mission.
  
  Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies
  Minimum Qualifications
  
  
• Four-year college degree.
  
• Experience in team leadership.
  
• Exceptional customer service skills.
  
  Preferred Qualifications
  
  
• FAA 141 flight training experience.
  
• FAA certificates (CFI, CFII, MEI, A&P, IA).
  
• Experience managing FAA 141 flight schools.
  
• Graduate degree in aviation or related field.
