Capture Manager
Location: HQ - Fairfax, VA
Hybrid Remote- 3 days onsite per week

Nationwide IT Services seeks an experienced Capture Manager to join our Growth team.
The successful candidate will lead the capture of new business opportunities with organizations across the Federal Government. They will meet with potential customers to understand pain points and requirements for assigned deals. They will collaborate with senior leadership, solution architects, and technical resources from across the company to develop innovative solutions and coordinate with the Proposal Manager to create winning proposals.

• Develop and execute detailed plans to win specific opportunities.
• Develop and refine value propositions and win themes based on customer interactions, competitive intelligence, and core competencies.
• Monitor, research, and analyze the competitive landscape to create competitive advantages.
• Coordinate with solution architects, proposal resources, partners, and consultants to drive progress on active captures.
• Ensure that all bids are compliant with customer requirements.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers.
• Collaborate with multiple teams within the organization to create successful strategies.
• Provide input on technical, management, pricing, and partnering.
• Communicate and interface with senior leadership, mentor junior staff and peers on business development and capture processes.Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record of success in winning contracts in the Federal Government market
  • Ability to lead an opportunity capture and support multiple capture efforts simultaneously.
  • Experience in proposal execution, development, and submission.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of government contracting regulations
  • Strong working knowledge of Shipley or similar business development and capture management processes.Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field
    
    Years of Professional Experience: 5+ Years of experience in government business development
