The following information aims to provide potential candidates with
a better understanding of the requirements for this role.
YRCI is seeking a full-time Sr. Business Developer/Capture
professional to support its Digital Solutions Division. This person
will play a key role in helping the division achieve its growth
goals by identifying and winning new business (including
identifying new opportunities, developing strong client
relationships, leading and shaping capture efforts for key
pursuits, and supporting a successful bid). This individual will
have successfully contributed to growing a digital and technology
solutions practice in the Federal space and be technically
conversant. This individual should be a self-starter who is
comfortable collaborating with technical, operations, growth, and
marketing staff across the company.
Reporting directly to YRCI's Director, Client Development -
spearhead strategic business development campaigns for YRCI by
leveraging connections, creating leads, fostering relationships,
and influencing Federal Agencies by creating and presenting YRCI
win themes, expert solutions, and operational excellence through
marketing and proposal delivery as well as on-going relationship
management.
Job Responsibilities:
Support YRCI's business development goals, by identifying,
researching, and qualifying and winning potential opportunities for
YRCI Digital Products and Solutions.
Lead capture efforts for assigned accounts, developing
comprehensive capture strategies and plans to help increase
Probability of Win (pWin) and adjusting strategies as needed to
ensure successful outcomes.
Work collaboratively across the division and within the company to
leverage internal resources, expertise, and relationships, ensuring
alignment across key stakeholders.
Leverage existing deep relationships and actively cultivate new
ones to establish trusted client connections; lead engagement
efforts for assigned opportunities by identifying key stakeholders,
developing tailored materials, and facilitating high-impact
meetings.
Regularly update the details and status of opportunities in Sales
Pipeline.
Monitor and report on capture progress to key leaders within the
division and across the firm.
Develop, track, and report on capture bid and proposal budgets.
Ensure compliance with key capture requirements.
Attend industry events related to assigned capture and YRCI
marketing.
Job Requirements
10+ years of experience in a technology consulting environment with
a focus on selling Professional Service Solutions and Products;
with proven success in identifying and winning work in the federal
space.
Deep understanding of the Federal technology procurement lifecycle,
including common procurement methods, evaluation strategies, orals,
tech challenges, and down select processes from identification
through a successful close.
Experience in a technology consulting environment with a focus on
technology Solutions and Delivery, specifically program management,
modern software development practices (Agile, HCD,
DevOps/DevSecOps, cloud, AI), systems integration and/or
Information Technoloy (IT) strategy.
Demonstrated leadership on multi-million-dollar sales wins.
A Business Development (BD) focus and orientation with previous
functional or Project Manager (PM) delivery responsibilities.
Critical analysis and reasoning skills with emphasis on deal
qualification and positioning.
