• Sitting at the front desk when the patient walks in, checking them in and out.
• Patient registration, scheduling follow up appointments.
• General customer service to all patients to assist with any needs.
• Answering all phone calls as they come in in order to best help patients.
• Documenting Doctor's notes on the patient files in the EMR system.
• Calling insurance companies to obtain authorizations and going on payer websites to verify patients' insurance and coverage. -Necessary Skills and Strengths:Customer Service - EMR/EHR Systems - Patient Scheduling Experience -- Insurance Payer Knowledge -- Medical Terminology - Insurance Verifications and AuthorizationsCore Experience:
