As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our oral and maxillofacial surgeons in providing high-quality care to our patients. Responsibilities:

• Assist oral and maxillofacial surgeons during dental procedures, surgeries, and examinations.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
• Take and develop dental x-rays and assist in performing dental radiographic procedures.
• Provide chair-side assistance to the oral surgeon during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Educate patients on post-operative care instructions and proper oral hygiene techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care. Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
  • Current certification in Dental Radiography (X-Ray certification).
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Prior experience working in an oral surgery or dental office setting is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent patient care.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends. Benefits:
