Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking an
RN/LPN Charge Nurse to join our team! Full-time, night shift
position available with complete benefits package including

We are seeking a Hours for this position are 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.The
household nurse follows the guidelines of the nursing practice set
to assure compliance of regulatory standardsThe household nurses
are partners, teachers, and role models of professional nursing
practices for Care Partners and advocates for quality clinical care
for the residents. Provides each resident with routing daily
nursing care including: passing medications, observing the
Resident's condition and communicating them to the Director of
Nursing as needed.Reviews resident clinical record; ensures
accuracy of daily orders and documents scanned into medical record.
Answers questions regarding Resident's welfare, care, and general
condition.Implements the plan of care and delegated medical
concerns. Maintains cleanliness of medication area in household:
resident medication cabinets and refrigerator.Coach and collaborate
with Care Partners in providing optimum healthcare for the
residents by reporting symptoms of the resident's condition to the
appropriate healthcare professional. Administer medications via
orally, subdermal, and intramuscular and carry out treatment
orders.Requirements:Valid unencumbered Virginia RN or LPN
licenseGraduate of an accredited and state-approved school of
nursingPrefer experience with dementiaCPR First Aid Westminster
