Pay Information $1,897 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Compact license or state license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS preferred Must-Have: - Flu vaccine required - Community hospital experience required - Cerner experience required Description: The position involves providing care in a medical-surgical telemetry setting. The nurse will float between medical-surgical telemetry and emergency departments. Ratios are 1:6. Call and weekend requirements include every other weekend and holidays as needed. Scrubs are not provided; color is ceil blue. The unit has 12 beds dedicated to medical-surgical telemetry patients. The nurse may come into contact with patients diagnosed with COVID-19. There is a requirement for two supervisor references. RTO (request time off) is highly preferred at no more than 7 days during the contract period. No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. Previous employees must have been gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler. The manager may or may not conduct an interview with candidates.
