Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: - Must have 1 prior travel assignment - Must provide proof of pending license status at time of submission - Must have valid state nursing license in hand prior to start date Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry specialty. This position requires working 4x12-hour shifts on days or nights. The nurse will be responsible for patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse must have experience in telemetry and cardiac telemetry. Dysrhythmia interpretation skills are essential. Experience with feeding tube care and management is required. IV therapy skills, including management of PICC lines and peripheral lines, are needed. The nurse will be expected to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity. Every other weekend shift is required. Charge nurse experience is preferred. The unit has a total of 16 patient rooms. Charting will be done using electronic medical records. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and willing to cover holidays. References from previous supervisors are required.
