Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist experienced with inpatient cardiac imaging, including TEE, TTE, and stress echocardiograms, with BLS and ARDMS or CCI certification. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital setting performing both inpatient and outpatient procedures - Patient population includes all ages - Average daily caseload is 8-10 cases - Procedures include TEE, TTE, stress echocardiograms, colorflow, and diafleur - Equipment used includes GE VE95's - Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM schedule with on-call required every fourth week - Outpatient work is Monday through Friday; weekends are for inpatient only - Floating is not mentioned - EMR usage required for reviewing patient information and preliminary reporting - Performs diagnostic, non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams following established protocols - Administers imaging enhancement agents in accordance with department policy - Pass/fail EKG testing required on first day with two attempts allowed; study guides provided - Must explain procedures to patients and ensure cooperation - Expected to enter preliminary reports and document critical findings in the EMR - Adherence to safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality policies required - Team members must demonstrate strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and exam procedures - 50-mile radius rule for travelers applies; no locals within this distance - Scrub requirements are not specified Requirements - BLS, and ARDMS or CCI certification required - Minimum of one year inpatient Echo Tech experience required - Advanced Arrhythmia Exam required - Experience with TEE, TTE, stress echo, colorflow, and diafleur required - Pediatric experience preferred - Previous travel experience preferred - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628823.
