Highlights - Schedule: Mix of 10 hrs and 12 hrs shifts, regular
hours required, no call - Job Setting: Community hospital with 11
ORs, 2 Endo suites and a very active 16 bed L&D department -
Types of Cases: General, Ortho, OB, Endo, EP/Cath lab, MRI,
Vascular, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Da Vinci Robot - Credentialing:
60 days - Duration: On going - EMR System: Epic - Supervision: MDs
supervising CRNAs at 4 to 1 ratio - Lodging/Housing Stipend:
110/daily - Car Rental/Mileage Stipend: 250/weekly Minimum
Requirements - Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA
Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists - Licensure: Current
license as a registered professional nurse; Virginia license or
willing to obtain - Education: Graduation from an accredited
program of nurse anesthesia education Responsibilities -
Pre-anesthesia assessment - Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient -
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia - Monitoring
of the patient's physiological condition - Performance of clinical
