Opportunity Highlights Schedule: Mix of 10 hrs and 12 hrs shifts, regular hours required, no call Job Setting: Community hospital with 11 ORs, 2 Endo suites and a very active 16 bed L&D department Types of Cases: General, Ortho, OB, Endo, EP/Cath lab, MRI, Vascular, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Da Vinci Robot Credentialing: 60 days Duration: On going EMR System: Epic Supervision: MDs supervising CRNAs at 4 to 1 ratio Lodging/Housing Stipend: $110/daily Car Rental/Mileage Stipend: $250/weekly Minimum Requirements Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; Virginia license or willing to obtain Education: Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education Responsibilities Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed About VISTA Staffing A ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Client and Talent 10-Year Diamond Award winner, VISTA has 30 years of experience optimizing continuity of care for hospitals, medical practices and government agencies across the US.
