Center (Full-Time Days, St. Louis Area) This position focuses on
delivering specialized nursing care to stroke patients via a
telemedicine platform, as part of a collaborative virtual care
team. The RN Telestroke nurse adheres to evidence-based stroke
protocols, ensures continuity of care across various hospitals, and
upholds patient confidentiality along with professional standards.
Candidates must possess an accredited nursing degree, state
licensure, experience in acute neurology care, and relevant
certifications such as BLS and Stroke Certified Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to
support evidence-based practices using established stroke protocols
via telemedicine. Ensure comprehensive care for stroke patients
throughout their treatment journey. Provide quality support and
collect data for stroke patients across multiple healthcare
facilities. Maintain professional accountability for patient care
for assigned individuals. Safeguard patient rights and
confidentiality of information. Perform duties in accordance with
our Mission, Values, and Service Standards. Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Associate's
Degree in Nursing required. Preferred Education: Bachelor of
Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2 years
of recent direct patient care experience with neurology patients in
an acute care setting, including Adult Med/Surg or Emergency
Department experience. Licensure: Must hold state licensure in the
state of practice; current RN Temporary Permit/RN required.
Multi-state licensure must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Certifications: BLS certification, NIHSS certification within one
month of hire, and Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN)
certification within 3 years of hire are mandatory. Other: Strong
communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
within a team environment are essential. Must be capable of
independent practice and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic setting. A
solid understanding of the pathophysiology and rationale for
specialized therapies for stroke patients is required. We Provide
