Balance Henrico Doctors’ Hospital is the largest delivery hospital

offering acute care and a surgical facility that has served the

antepartum unit, private labor/delivery/recovery suites, and
educational classes for new parents. Memorial Regional Medical
Center is a 225-bed full-service hospital that serves Richmond,
Hanover County and Henrico County as well as Virginia’s Northern
Neck. The hospital is home to a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
(NICU), private labor-delivery-recovery suites, obstetrical
critical care for high-risk pregnancies, maternal-fetal medicine
and ongoing educational programs for new families. Southside
Regional Medical Center , part of the Catholic Bon Secours system,
is a 300-bed facility located on a 50-acre campus with nearly 400
physicians representing more than 40 specialties. It currently sees
about 1,800 annual deliveries. The hospital serves the Richmond, VA
area including the communities of Petersburg, Hopewell, Colonial
