Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Richmond, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,002 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Telemetry Experience Description: This is a fast-paced unit with a focus on teamwork and patient experience. The unit has 16 beds and a staff of 26, including RNs, PCTs, and a Unit Secretary. The typical patient ratio is 4:1 during night shifts. The unit cares for cardiac patients and post-surgical patients. Common procedures performed include managing cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Primacor, and Dopamine. Candidates must possess good time management skills. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred candidates will have experience in a fast-paced environment. Nurses on the unit are friendly and collaborative. There is a supportive leadership culture that recognizes excellence. Typically, every third weekend is required to be worked.
