Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,632 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20010! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience, including circulating and Level 1 trauma License: Active RN License required; pending licenses accepted with application proof Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Completion of 1 prior travel assignment - Experience in cardiothoracic, vascular, and trauma procedures Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. Shifts are 3 x 12-hour day shifts from 06:30 to 19:00 or evening shifts from 11:00 to 23:30. On-call requirements include 6 calls per 6-week schedule, with one weekend or holiday commitment per schedule. If no heart surgeries are available, the nurse may float to general surgery. Two years of experience in a CVOR setting is required. Candidates must have experience circulating and working in a Level 1 trauma environment. Completion of a prior travel assignment is mandatory. All employees are required to have the Flu vaccine. Special procedures performed in this unit include CABG, valve surgeries, LVAD, and transplants. Daily patient census averages 60 cases, including 8-10 hearts. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. The ideal candidate will have robust skills in cardiothoracic robotic surgery, endovascular aneurysm repair, and more.
