Ultrasound Tech Location: Washington DC Agency: Medix Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 18 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Medix is working with a client in Washington, D.C., to secure a travel Ultrasound Tech (Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonographer) for an 18 week travel assignment starting January 12, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician seeking a predictable schedule in a highly specialized, fast-paced ambulatory care environment. The Details: Location: Washington, DC Facility Type: Ambulatory Setting Start Date: January 12, 2026 Length of Assignment: Approximately 18 weeks (based on 720 expected hours) Schedule: M-F, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, No Weekends, All Holidays Off State License Needed: District of Columbia Pay: Hourly rates starting at $40 As a crucial part of the MFM team, you will be performing a variety of advanced obstetric and fetal ultrasounds utilizing OE Volusons with Viewpoint software. Your daily responsibilities will include: Performing 8-10 patient exams per day. Conducting Fetal Echocardiograms daily. Operating within a standard Monday through Friday schedule, ensuring a strong work-life balance with no weekend or holiday shifts. Requirements Required Skills and Certifications: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification with OB (Obstetrics) specialty. MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) specialization is strongly preferred. Preferred Experience: Prior experience in a Maternal-Fetal Medicine setting.
