Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic
opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) to serve a diverse K-12 caseload in Virginia
Beach, VA. This contract position is ideal for those passionate
about supporting students across all grade levelsfrom preschool
through 12th gradein a school setting. The assignment begins ASAP
and continues through the end of the school year, providing an
engaging environment to make a meaningful impact on student
communication and language development. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to
students ranging from pre-school through 12th grade. Collaborate
with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create and
implement effective treatment plans. Assess and diagnose speech,
language, and communication disorders. Maintain detailed
documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and
state standards. Participate in IEP meetings to advocate for
student needs and adjustments. Qualifications: Valid SLP
certification/license appropriate for school settings. Experience
working with pediatric populations across elementary, middle, and
high school levels. Ability to manage a caseload that includes
diverse communication disorders. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills to work effectively with students, families,
and school personnel. Flexibility to accommodate part-time or
full-time schedules, with immediate availability preferred.
