Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Richmond, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,289 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: Active state nursing license required Certifications: CPI, TNCC, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Epic charting experience - Trauma Level I experience - Travel experience required - BSN preferred Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in the emergency room. The facility is a Level 1 trauma and teaching facility. The role requires providing care for adult patients with various emergencies. Experienced registered nurses will manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have experience in managing complex care situations, critical thinking, and detailed physical assessments. Care will be provided for patients with trauma, burns, medical, surgical, and psychiatric emergencies. Registered nurses will monitor and administer treatments, including conscious sedation and advanced life support. Interdisciplinary support is available, including respiratory services, social services, and radiology. The unit is responsible for emergency care of a large patient population annually. Candidates should be comfortable working within a diverse patient demographic. Nurses may float within their scope if needed. A natural nail policy is in place. All candidates are required to undergo fingerprinting as per local regulations before beginning employment. Modules are assigned and must be completed during the orientation week.
