Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Position Summary Under the
direction of the Speech and Language Lead, the Teletherapy Speech
and Language Pathologist shall assess, diagnose, and treat patients
with speech and language disorders through teletherapy. The Speech
and Language Pathologist shall maintain extensive clinical notes
and recommend therapy modifications based on patient progress. The
Speech and Language Pathologist shall collaborate with a program
supervisor, board-certified behavior analysts, and other speech
therapists to provide comprehensive care. Roles and
Responsibilities Stewardship • Provide treatment to patients in a
hybrid setting. • Maintain client confidentiality, understand, and
adhere to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability)
regulatory laws, rules, regulations, and policies. • Work ethically
and with integrity while following the SLP Ethical Code. • Adhere
to Pediatric Speech Lab policies, processes, procedures, and best
practices. Customer Experience • Communicate progress and treatment
plans effectively with all staff involved in the progress of the
patient. • Communicate appropriately and effectively with
colleagues and families, as needed. • Communicate effectively with
managers, leaders, and external customers. • Maintain visibility on
our tele-practice app to ensure patients have access to book
appointments and ask questions in a timely and effective manner.
Technical Performance and Precision • Consistently develop
treatment and therapy plans to meet the unique demands of a diverse
patient population. • Conduct assessments to properly diagnose
voice and speech disorders. • Maintain detailed records of
symptoms, treatment plans, therapies, and progress reports. •
Effectively communicate the goals and outcomes of the treatment
plan to patients, families, and other staff involved in the
progress of the patient. • Answer questions and provide support or
advice to the family members of our clients. • Collect and maintain
accurate data and clinical notes utilizing data collection software
• Provide recommendations to the treatment plan to ensure
successful therapy for the patient. • Participate in ongoing
training, evaluations, and meetings, as required. • Assist with
parent training and clinical assessments, as needed • Perform other
duties as assigned Learning and Professional Growth • Stay abreast
of new and changing therapies within the ABA Therapy industry. •
Make a continual effort to advance competencies, knowledge, skills,
and abilities through continuing education, training, advanced
degrees, certifications, reading, conducting research, and related
opportunities. • Discuss career and professional development goals

aware of leading-edge best practices, finds innovative and accurate

Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Clinical Treatment: Provide
teletherapy treatment to at least 90% of scheduled patients weekly,
measured through patient attendance records, to ensure high patient
engagement and satisfaction. • Collaboration: Collaborate with
program supervisors, board-certified behavior analysts, and speech
therapists for 100% of patient cases, documented in patient records
and reviewed monthly, to enhance treatment effectiveness through
interdisciplinary care. • Compliance: Maintain 100% adherence to
HIPAA regulations and ASHA Ethical Code, measured through quarterly
audits of teletherapy session documentation, to ensure legal
compliance and uphold professional integrity. • Meetings and
Communication: Attend 100% of scheduled virtual meetings with the
clinical team, tracked through attendance records, to foster team
collaboration and continuous professional development. •
Standardized Testing and Program Goals: Implement standardized
tests for diagnosing communication disorders with 95% reliability,
reviewed quarterly, to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective
program goals via teletherapy. • Treatment Planning: Develop and
maintain comprehensive teletherapy treatment plans and progress
reports for 95% of patients, reviewed monthly for completeness and
accuracy, to provide personalized and effective patient care. •
Training and Professional Development: Participate in ongoing
virtual training and complete at least two continuing education
courses annually, tracked through certifications and course
completions, to stay current with industry advancements and improve
teletherapy skills. • • Documentation: Collect and maintain
accurate clinical notes for 100% of teletherapy sessions, updated
within 24 hours of each session, monitored weekly, to ensure
precise and timely patient records. • Innovation and Learning:
Implement at least one new teletherapy technique or best practice
annually, tracked through implementation and outcome reviews, to
enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of teletherapy programs. •
Administrative Tasks: Complete all assigned administrative tasks
related to teletherapy within designated timeframes, tracked
monthly, to support the smooth operation of the teletherapy
services. Qualifications Education and Experience • Minimum of
master’s degree in Speech Pathology or related field. • Certificate
of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). •
Experience working in a clinical setting supporting patients on the
autism spectrum highly preferred. • Valid driver’s license,
reliable transportation, automobile insurance, and a clean driving
record are essential. Skills and Abilities • Ability to listen to

knowledge of proper data collection techniques. • Must learn how to
properly submit various company and regulatory forms and documents
such as requisitions and clinical data updates. • Ability to
operate office equipment: fax, copier, scanner, phone, and
computer. • Ability to use the internet for research,
communications, and training. Language Skills • Excellent verbal
and written communication skills. • Ability to read, analyze, and
interpret documents such as policies, procedure manuals, research
information, review articles, and various ABA periodicals. •
Ability to speak effectively and present information to all levels
of internal and external customers. • Ability to author routine
reports and correspondence. • Ability to resolve and respond to
common inquiries or complaints from internal and external
customers. Physical Demands • Must have the manual dexterity to
perform specific computer and electronic functions for effective
data collection and communication. • Must have visual acuity to
read and comprehend written communication through electronic
devices and on paper. Work Environment • Ability to work in front
of a computer for extended periods of time. • Must be comfortable
working with children who may be screaming, crying, yelling, or
