Encompass Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in administering nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, facilitating the delivery of care in both facility-based and home-based settings. The successful candidate will be an empathetic, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative medical environment. Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as dressing wounds, administering medication, and monitoring health. Collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to implement comprehensive patient care plans. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health maintenance. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Proficiency in administering injections and immunizations Strong observational and communication skills Capability to handle medical equipment and tools Knowledge of basic healthcare and patient care protocols Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN or LVN license valid in the state of practice CPR certification IV certification is beneficial
