Job Description:
Encompass Health, a national leader in integrated healthcare
services, is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled
Occupational Therapist to join our diverse team. We provide
comprehensive facility-based and home-based patient care in 42
states, focusing on delivering high-quality rehabilitation and
recovery services. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible
for aiding patients in improving their ability to perform tasks in
their daily living and working environments. They will assist
patients in developing, recovering, improving, as well as
maintaining the skills needed for daily living and working, all
through therapeutic interventions. Assess patient needs and create
detailed treatment plans. Implement therapeutic processes to aid in
patient recovery and skills development. Maintain patient records
and document patient progress. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary
team to provide comprehensive care. Educate patients and their
families on treatment plans and home exercises. Adapt treatment
plans to meet the needs of individual patients. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in creating and
executing detailed therapeutic plans Ability to work
collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Experience with
electronic medical records (EMR) systems Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Licensed Occupational Therapist
NBCOT Certified Occupational Therapy credential (preferred but not
required)
