Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist
to join our team, delivering exceptional care to patients across a
variety of settings, including both facility-based and home health
environments. With a commitment to rehabilitation and recovery, the
Occupational Therapist will play a crucial role in helping patients
regain independence after illness, injury, or surgery. This role
requires a compassionate approach and a deep understanding of
physical therapy to create customized treatment plans that cater to
each patient's unique recovery needs. Evaluate patient conditions
and develop appropriate rehabilitation and treatment plans.
Implement patient therapy programs, track progress, and adjust
treatments as needed. Educate patients and families on treatments,
rehabilitation techniques, and preventative measures. Collaborate
with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate patient records and document patient status and
progress. Adhere to all professional and ethical standards,
ensuring compassionate and effective care. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Proficiency in creating and implementing
tailored treatment plans Ability to work independently and as part
of a team High level of compassion and empathy Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current and valid state
licensure as an Occupational Therapist. BLS Certification
preferred.
