TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
ICU/Critical Care RN in Chesapeake, Virginia, 23320! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum 3 years in Critical Care preferred License: Valid VA or
Compact License required at the time of submission Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Strong neuro experience
(post-neurosurgical, EVD, and stroke) Must be willing to float to
Stepdown Unit. May also be floated to ED/MedSurg to care for ICU
patients being held. Description: Located in a beautiful area known
for outdoor activities. The region offers trails for hikers and
waterways to explore. Strong neuro experience is required. Previous
charge experience is preferred. Candidates must have experience
with Vents, IV drip titration, Telemetry monitoring, Conscious
Sedation, Dysrhythmia, and emergency management. Patient
populations include neurosurgical and post-stroke, respiratory
failure, renal failure, post-surgical, trauma, sepsis and MODS, and
heart failure. Ratios are typically 1:2-3. Travel experience is
preferred. Must be proficient in EPIC. Patients include
adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support
includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services,
Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services,
and Pharmacy. The facility does not accept any history of license
or background hits. Candidates must provide a current address
verification. EKG testing is required for multiple units within the
facility. Modules are billable, and completion of 3 hours of
