Job Description Practice Highlights Lead and grow a dynamic
cardiothoracic surgical program with strong institutional support
Perform a wide range of complex cardiac and thoracic procedures
Collaborative, multidisciplinary environment including cardiology,
vascular surgery, anesthesia, ICU, and thoracic services Advanced

innovation Practice Summary Full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon
opportunity Located in Alexandria, Louisiana Practice based at a
leading acute-care regional referral hospital Adult cardiac and
thoracic surgical cases including CABG, valve repair/replacement,
and thoracic procedures Open and minimally invasive/robotic
techniques welcomed Participation in call rotation Leadership role
within the surgical service line Key Responsibilities Perform a
full spectrum of cardiothoracic surgical procedures including
coronary bypass, valve repair/replacement, and thoracic surgeries
Collaborate closely with cardiology, ICU, vascular surgery, and
other service lines to ensure coordinated patient care Participate
in quality improvement initiatives and program development
Contribute to service-line growth and strategic planning Mentor and
collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals
Qualifications MD or DO with completed cardiothoracic surgery
training (ACGME or equivalent) Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Cardiothoracic Surgery Active or eligible Louisiana medical license
Experience with adult cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills Benefits
