Job Description:
MedStar Health is looking for an experienced RN Assistant
Director of Nursing for our Endoscopy department. This pivotal role
supports the Director of Nursing in managing all operational
aspects of our endoscopy services, ensuring compassionate,
efficient, and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will
bring a mix of managerial skills, clinical expertise, and a passion
for patient-first health care in alignment with our mission to
provide top-tier health services in the D.C., Maryland, Virginia
region. Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the endoscopy
unit, focusing on quality patient care, compliance, and efficiency.
Implement and monitor effective patient care strategies and quality
improvement. Manage staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and
development. Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and
regulatory requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
to optimize patient outcomes. Manage budgeting, procurement, and
resource allocation. Analyze patient feedback and clinical data to
continuously improve service and outcomes. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal
skills In-depth knowledge of endoscopic procedures and standards
Proficiency in healthcare management systems and electronic health
records Ability to handle stress and make critical decisions under

Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification
in Gastroenterology Nursing (CGRN) preferred
