deep understanding of global cuisine trends, and a commitment to
impeccable food safety and sanitation standards. Oversee day-to-day
kitchen operations within educational institutions. Develop and
implement seasonal menus that align with our commitments to health
and sustainability while satisfying diverse tastes. Manage food
cost controls and sourcing, ensuring budget compliance and minimal
waste. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of culinary professionals,
fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Ensure
stringent food safety and cleanliness standards are met
consistently. Collaborate closely with the administrative
leadership to align the dining services with educational
objectives. Plan and execute high-profile catering events and
functions. Proven ability in menu planning and budget management.
Strong leadership and team development skills. Extensive knowledge
of nutrition and dietary needs. Excellent organizational and
time-management skills. Proficiency in various cooking techniques
and cuisines. Solid understanding of food safety regulations and
compliance. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Certified Executive Chef (CEC) designation by
the American Culinary Federation (ACF) preferred. ServSafe Food
Safety Certification is required.
