BONUS $100 per week for each week of overnight camp completed. Overtime pay eligibility during day camp. Salaries listed are minimums. May be more with prior camp experience. NOTE: These positions are seasonal 6/8-8/14. Dates needed can be found after pay. Assistant Camp Director, age 21, $580 weekly overnight camp/$17.00 hourly day camp, 6/8-8/14 This is the perfect position for a natural born leader! As Assistant Camp Director, you will be responsible to assist in leading a high performing team to carry out the daily operations of camp. Excellent organizational skills are needed to coordinate efficient check-in and check-out processes and manage camper paperwork including health records. Multi-tasking and customer service skills are also needed to be able to respond to camper, staff, or parent needs (sometimes all at the same time). Prior camp and supervisory experience is a must. Program Manager, age 21 $540 weekly overnight camp/$16.00 hourly day camp, 6/8-8/14 If you are an out of the box thinker and like to find new ways to create fun, this is the role for you! Show your creativity and share it with others by coordinating fun, themed, engaging camp activities that are administered in compliance with proper safety standards. Maintain program schedules and inventory of camp supplies to make sure we have fun activities for everyoneeven on rainy days. Leadership skills are needed to supervise specialty counselors. Food Service Manager/Cook, age 21 $580 weekly overnight camp/$17.00 hourly day camp, 6/8-7/24 If you enjoy cooking, you will love seeing the smiles after filling the bellies of our hungry campers. Camp includes a commercial grade kitchen just looking for the perfect chef who loves cooking for a large crowd. Oversee all food service operations including the planning, preparing and cooking of all meals. Share your skills by leading your team of kitchen staff to insure everything meets nutritional and health code standards. Food Handler certification required. Food Manager certification preferred. Health Manager/Nurse, age 21 $580 weekly overnight camp/$17.00 hourly day camp,6/8-7/24 Calling for a health manager stat ! This caregiver will oversee the physical and mental wellness and safety of campers and staff. You will manage health center operations and maintain all medical records/documents. You will stay busy rendering first aid and dispensing medication to campers. RN, LPN, EMT or Wilderness First Aid certification holders are preferred. CIT Leader , age 18 (21 preferred) $480 weekly overnight camp/$14.50 hourly day camp, 6/14-8/14 Are you a natural born leader that wants to share your skills with the next generation? In this role, you will lead a special unit of older campers participating in CIT (Counselor-in-training) I and CIT II. Coordinate activities and teach skills to prepare to build leaders and the next generation of camp staff. Patience and the ability to effectively lead and communicate with young adults is a must. Unit Leaders, age 18 (21 preferred) $480 weekly overnight camp/$14.50 hourly day camp, 6/14-8/14 Perfect for the person who likes to keep things organized and on schedule. Work collaboratively as part of the camp leadership team to help develop daily schedules for campers and counselors. Supervise a team of general counselors to lead campers through their daily schedule. Aquatics Counselors/Lifeguards, age 18 $440 weekly overnight camp/$13.50 hourly day camp, 6/14-8/14 Take a counselor, add water, and you have this position! Stay wet all summer by coordinating and delivering pool and waterfront activities including swimming, boating, sailing, and canoeing. You may have to blow the whistle to maintain camper compliance with all safety standards. Must have current lifeguard certification or attend/pass free training offered by GSCCC prior to camp. Adventure Counselors, age 18 $440 weekly overnight camp/$13.50 hourly day camp, 6/14-8/14 Calling all thrill seekers! Help campers experience their adventurous side through challenging activities like climbing tower, rock climbing, and ropes courses (low & high). Compliance with safety standards and keeping campers safe is a priority so you must be able to be a rule enforcer. Previous experience instructing youth is a definite plus. General Counselors, age 18 $420 weekly overnight camp/$13.00 hourly day camp, 6/14-8/14 This is the perfect place to start your summer camp career. Previous camp experience is a plus but not required. All that’s needed is a love of the outdoors and a willingness to share that passion with campers. Get to know campers by name and ensure each camper is provided with a safe and inclusive outdoor experience. Kitchen Assistants, age 18 $420 weekly overnight camp/$13.00 hourly day camp 6/14-7/24 This is one of the best positions at camp because you get to work in air conditioning all day. Join us as a sous chef and assist with meal preparation and kitchen clean up. And sometimes you fill in for general counselors when needed. You will need to complete a Food Handlers certification for this position.
