• Supervise and manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based.
• Plan and monitor the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization and perform systems capacity analysis and planning.
• Plan and monitor assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and use configuration management tools to streamline administration tasks.
• Manage virtualization platforms and ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Design and implement advanced system security measures, including firewalls, SELinux, and secure SSH configurations.
• Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and change management logs.
• Commensurate experience and education.
• Perform the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based.
• Perform the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.

  Requirements
  Education/Qualifications for Senior:
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or related field or at a minimum IT Certification.
  • Five (5) years' experience is equivalent to two (2) years of education.Certification:
    • This is an IAT-I Level, or higher IAT- II level certification.Minimum Qualifications:
      • Five (5) years of experience in current Linux, Windows, VMware and SAS.
      • Five (5) years of performing security remediation to systems with vulnerabilities based on security scans.
      • Two (2) years of experience in an Agile DevSecOps software and engineering environment and Methodologies.
      • Two (2) years of experience with Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent.
      • Two (2) years of experience with managing, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting web applications in IIS and Apache web servers.
      • Two (2) years of experience with installing, configuring, and maintenance of RHEL servers.
      • Two (2) years of designing, building, implementing application servers to support business environment.
      • Two (2) years of experience of server installation and upgrade with GOTS and COTS software.
      • Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 for unclassified systems.
