Job Description:

We are looking for a forward-thinking Manager, DevOps Engineering to join our dynamic IT department. In this role, you will oversee our organization's DevOps strategy, implementation, and team management to ensure alignment with the company's goals. As a leader in our DevOps engineering department, you will be pivotal in optimizing our software development and operational processes. Reporting to the IT Director, you will foster an innovative and collaborative culture that directly supports {EMPLOYER-DESC}'s continual growth. Lead and manage the DevOps team to ensure efficient project execution and operation. Develop and implement efficient, scalable DevOps strategies aligned with business objectives. Enhance the company’s infrastructure and application development processes through the adoption and adaptation of DevOps practices and tools. Collaborate with the software development and IT operations teams to integrate systems that improve the efficiency and quality of both development and deployment. Manage and optimize infrastructure as a service through automation and the use of public cloud technologies. Set performance goals and milestones for the DevOps team. Maintain security and data privacy and ensure compliance with the latest in industry standards and regulations. Measure, analyze, and report on the scalability and efficiency of systems. Strong proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Expertise in CI/CD toolchain, including Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent. Experience in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Solid understanding of coding languages such as Python, Ruby, or Java. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IAC) practices. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage a workload with various priorities. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
