We are seeking Platform Engineers who are passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the Human Resource technology driving Capital One. As part of a team that’s leading the next wave of disruption on a whole new scale, you will play an integral part in advancing Capital One’s Human Resource Technology ecosystem and culture of technical excellence. You will champion automation of functional and technical processes and bring your expertise to drive innovative solutions. General Responsibilities: - Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios - Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business - Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards - Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners - Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results. - Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities - Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation - Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective - Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification - At least 4 years of experience with Workday functional configuration tasks - At least 2 years of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform - At least 1 year of experience with calculated fields or custom reports Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - 5 years of experience with Workday functional configuration (Payroll and Benefits) - Experience working in an agile delivery environment - Workday or Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking or Performance Management) - 1 years of experience loading HCM data into Workday using existing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB’s) At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, E-2, E-3, L-1 and O-1, or any EADs or other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer). This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
