Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing
solutions, seeks an experienced Data Center Controls Tech to join
our dynamic Data Center Capacity Delivery team. In this crucial
role, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the
intricate control systems that ensure our data centers operate at
optimal efficiency. Your technical prowess and problem-solving
skills will directly contribute to AWS's capability to service
millions globally, maintaining the uptime and reliability Amazon is
known for. Monitor and maintain data center control systems
including HVAC, power management, and security systems. Implement
and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure data center
uptime. Respond to and troubleshoot issues, ensuring minimal impact
on operations. Collaborate with IT, network engineers, and other
stakeholders to coordinate infrastructure projects and expansions.
Keep detailed records of data center operations, incidents, and
maintenance activities. Stay current with the latest industry
technologies and trends to recommend upgrades and improvements.
Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and control
systems in data center environments. Proficient with automation
tools and software related to data center controls. Excellent
problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Strong
communication and collaboration skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Data Center Technician
Professional (CDCTP) Certified Automation Professional (CAP) is a
plus.
