Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident LTS is seeking an
experienced Scrum Master to support a large-scale digital
modernization initiative with the U.S. Department of Veterans
Affairs (VA). In this role, you will help drive Agile best
practices and accelerate the delivery of secure, user-centered
technology solutions that serve millions of Veterans. You will work
within an Agile Release Train (ART) environment, partnering closely
with Product Owners, technical teams, and program leadership to
ensure consistent delivery, team alignment, and continuous
improvement across complex federal systems. By enabling
high-performing Agile teams, you will directly contribute to
delivering reliable, user-focused systems that improve access to
critical healthcare and benefits services. What You'll Do: •
Facilitate and guide one or more Scrum teams in the adoption and
effective implementation of the Scrum framework and Agile best
practices • Support Program Increment (PI) Planning and ART-level
events in coordination with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) •
Partner with Product Owners and workstream leads to translate epics
and user stories into actionable, prioritized backlogs aligned with
program objectives • Promote transparency, communication, and
alignment across cross-functional teams including engineers,
security specialists, product managers, and government stakeholders
• Track sprint progress, team performance, and delivery metrics;
provide regular updates on status, risks, and improvement
opportunities • Identify and remove impediments and blockers,
proactively resolving issues to keep teams on track • Facilitate
Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint
Reviews, and Retrospectives • Coach and mentor team members and
stakeholders in Agile principles, fostering a culture of continuous
improvement and collaboration • Advise government personnel and
delivery partners on Agile adoption, process standardization, and
digital transformation best practices in a federal environment •
Ensure team activities remain aligned with the program's mission to
deliver scalable, sustainable, and impactful digital solutions for
Veterans What We're Looking For: • Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, Business, or related field • Minimum 5 years
of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance •
Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale digital
transformation efforts, preferably within federal or highly
regulated environments • Proven ability to facilitate Scrum
ceremonies and coaching teams using Agile and Scrum methodologies •
Strong problem-solving skills with experience removing impediments
in complex, fast-paced programs • Excellent communication,
facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills across both
technical and non-technical audiences Nice to Have: • Experience
supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other federal
civilian agencies • Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
and working within an Agile Release Train (ART) • Experience
working in Public Trust or federal security environments • Hands-on
experience with Agile and project tools such as Jira, Rally,
Confluence, or Git-based repositories • Scrum certifications such
as CSM, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent What's In It for
