Job Description Position: Profile v7 Developer Remote Long term
This is the same role as 53802-1 and 53800-1 so please do not
submit duplicates We are seeking a highly experienced Profile v7
Developer with deep core banking domain expertise and strong
Profile Scripting Language (PSL) knowledge. The role requires an
SME level professional capable of leading large scale core banking
upgrade and modernization programs, engaging directly with Tier 1
banking clients, and guiding development teams through complex
Profile implementations. Key Responsibilities • Serve as a Subject
Matter Expert (SME) on Profile v7 for core banking implementations,
upgrades, and modernization initiatives. • Lead design,
development, and conversion of Profile customizations, including: o
Legacy MUMPS based customizations o Migration and redevelopment
using PSL (Profile Scripting Language) • Drive Profile upgrade
programs for banks running older Profile versions (15–20 years old
environments). • Provide technical leadership across onshore and
offshore development teams. • Review architecture, design
specifications, and code to ensure: o Alignment with Profile best
practices o High performance, stability, and maintainability • Act
as the primary technical interface with client stakeholders,
including: o Bank IT leadership o Operations and functional SMEs o
Vendor and product teams • Troubleshoot complex production issues
and lead root cause analysis. • Support knowledge transition (KT)
and mentor junior and mid level Profile developers. • Contribute to
estimation, planning, and delivery governance for large programs.
Mandatory Skills & Experience • 10 years of hands on experience in
core banking / retail banking systems • 5 years of deep expertise
in Profile Scripting Language (PSL) • Strong working knowledge of:
o Profile v7 architecture o Legacy MUMPS and customization
conversion approaches • Proven experience leading large scale
Profile upgrade or implementation programs • Excellent client
facing communication skills, with the ability to explain complex
technical topics to non technical stakeholders • Strong
understanding of: o Core banking domains (Accounts, Deposits,
Loans, Interest, Fees, Posting, EOD/BOD) o Regulatory and audit
considerations in banking systems Nice to Have Skills • Experience
working with Tier 1 banks and multi country banking environments •
Exposure to: o API enablement or integrations around Profile o
Modernization programs linked to digital channels or middleware •
Prior involvement in Profile replacement or coexistence programs
(Profile digital core / integration layers) Role Level / Band •
