Senior Platform Engineer, Workday (Integrations - Recruiting) Do

customer needs. We are seeking Workday Engineers who are passionate
about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to
support the Human Resource technology driving Capital One. As part
of a team that’s leading the next wave of disruption on a whole new
scale, you will play an integral part in advancing Capital One’s
Human Resource Technology ecosystem and culture of technical
excellence. You will champion automation of functional and
technical processes and bring your expertise to drive innovative
solutions. What You’ll Do: Design, develop, test, and maintain
complex Workday integrations to support the candidate and associate
experience globally, leveraging web service technologies (SOAP,
REST, WSDL, XML, XSLT) and Workday tools like Studio, Core
Connectors, Custom Reports, and RaaS solutions. Deliver
techno-functional solutions and provide deep expertise across
Workday Human Resources modules (including HCM, Recruiting,
Onboarding, Benefits), ensuring configuration and integration
alignment with Compensation, Payroll, and Security functional
areas. Contribute to the design, configuration, and implementation
of Workday solutions to support a rapidly expanding global
footprint, including ownership for the current scope (UK, Canada,
India, Mexico, and the Philippines) and integrating new
international regions into the platform. Identify opportunities for
process improvements and collaborate with HR partners to design and
configure optimized business processes within the Workday platform
globally. Provide deep technical expertise on Workday Studio
technologies, global security configurations, system
troubleshooting, data analysis, and vendor management, coordinating
with other HR/Enterprise teams. Design and develop automation
workflows, perform unit tests, and conduct rigorous code reviews to
ensure all work is elegantly coded, effectively tuned for platform
performance, and meets high-quality standards. Effectively
communicate and influence solutions across the team, Product
Owners, and global stakeholders/international business partners,
translating business priorities to integrate the HR value
proposition and strategies. Engage with other technologists across
the HR Tech environment to identify innovative solutions for
capturing and integrating data across the Human Resources technical
landscape. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or
equivalent certification At least 4 years of Workday platform
engineering experience At least 2 years of experience designing and
developing integration solutions At least 2 years of experience
working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree 5 years of experience
working with Workday platform across HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding
and Benefits 3 years of experience designing and developing
integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Workday
Studio, Custom Reports or RaaS solutions 3 years of experience
working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
2 years of experience in Workday reporting 1 years of experience
with Workday Extend Workday or Workday Pro certifications (Core
Connectors, Document Transformations, Integrations, or Studio) At

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are
listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information
is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these
locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay
at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be
prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly
worked. Cambridge, MA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Senior Platform
Engineer Chicago, IL: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform
Engineer McLean, VA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Senior Platform
Engineer New York, NY: $143,200 - $163,500 for Senior Platform
Engineer Plano, TX: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform
Engineer Richmond, VA: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform
Engineer San Francisco, CA: $143,200 - $163,500 for Senior Platform
Engineer San Jose, CA: $143,200 - $163,500 for Senior Platform
Engineer Candidates hired to work in other locations will be
subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the
actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the
time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer
letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based
incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or
long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or
