As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the logistics and warehouse support team, ensuring efficient loading, moving, and handling of materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to safety, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Forklift Operator Location: Altavista, VA Pay Range: $16 Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM What's the Job? Operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks with lifting devices such as forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets. Assist in loading and unloading materials to ensure timely and safe transportation. Conduct routine safety checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation. Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of materials moved. Collaborate with team members to support overall warehouse operations and safety protocols. What's Needed? High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 year of experience operating forklifts or similar industrial trucks. Ability to pass a urine 5-panel drug test and background check.
