Our client, a leader in heavy industrial operations, is seeking a Forklift Operator on 2nd shift to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the logistics and warehouse support team, ensuring efficient loading, moving, and handling of materials. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, attention to safety, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Forklift Operator Location: Altavista, VA Pay Range: $16.55 Shift: 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM What's the Job? Operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets. Assist in loading, unloading, and moving materials within the facility. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations. Maintain accurate records of materials moved and equipment used. Support team members in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. What's Needed? High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 year of previous forklift operation experience.
