You’ll coordinate shipments, solve real-time challenges, and ensure our drivers are supported every step of the way. Your quick thinking and communication skills will directly impact delivery times, customer satisfaction, and our reputation for reliability. What You'll Do - Schedule and dispatch freight loads to drivers based on location, availability, and route efficiency. - Monitor driver progress using GPS tracking and provide real-time updates to customers. - Negotiate rates with brokers and shippers to maximize profitability. - Resolve unexpected issues—weather delays, breakdowns, or last-minute changes—with calm and creativity. - Maintain accurate records of loads, routes, and delivery confirmations. - Build strong relationships with drivers, ensuring they feel valued and supported. What You'll Bring - Experience in freight dispatching, logistics coordination, or a related transportation role. - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think on your feet. - Proficiency with dispatch software (e.g., Truckstop, DAT, or similar platforms). - Excellent communication skills—clear, professional, and empathetic. - A problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
