Full Job Description Job Title: Appliance Home Delivery Driver (Lead) Location: East Coast Appliance, 400 North Military Highway, Norfolk VA. 23502 IMMEDIATE OPENINGS Typical Pay: $60,000 - $80,000 a year Flexible schedule. Work a 5- or 6-day workweek Typical Hours: Starts daily at 7:00 am. Performs an average of 10 to 12 scheduled home deliveries per-day. 8- to 10-Hours Per Day. Typical Work Hours Per Week: 50- to 60-hours per-week. Management : Truck Lead manages a team of one (1) or two (2) helpers/drivers. Physical Requirements : 100% touch-freight. This position involves moving appliances by hand, all day, every day. It can only be described as very physical work. So, we are big enough to compete against the 'box stores' but small enough to provide that white glove service that customers in Richmond demand and expect! Minimum Requirements Must have a valid Virginia 'REAL ID' Driver's license . No DUI or Reckless Driving convictions. No moving violation convictions in the past three (3) years. No at-fault accidents in the past three (3) years. No negative points on driving record. No felony convictions. No misdemeanor conviction in the past three (3) years. Must have a professional customer service demeanor. Must have appliance hand-truck experience . Must be able to follow company protocol and policies. Must be willing and able to pass FMCSA pre-employment drug screening, to include screening for marijuana. Must have experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
