Job Description:
About The Role: The Sales Development Specialist plays a vital
role in identifying, developing, and qualifying leads (setting up
meetings) to support the growth of technology companies’ public
sector business. We value diverse perspectives and encourage

lead generation activities through call and email campaigns to
uncover new business opportunities for technology companies.
Execute sales activities in alignment with KPIs and metrics,
fostering an inclusive environment. Prospect, call, set up, and
confirm meetings between technology companies and government
customers. Document all calls and other sales activities and
interactions in the company CRM SMaRT, creating and linking to
appropriate opportunities in the system. Execute and adhere to the
DLT Lead Pass documentation and submission process. Establish and
maintain ongoing business relationships with technology company
representatives, channel partner representatives, and government
customers to grow the DLT contact database and overall public
sector network. Meet and exceed established performance goals while
supporting team members in their objectives. Perform other duties
as assigned to meet company goals. What We're Looking For: Entry
Level (0 to 1 Year of relevant work experience). Associate Degree
or equivalent work or military experience required; Bachelor’s
Degree preferred. Experience in a sales or business environment is
a plus. Business or marketing internship experience is valued.
Familiarity with selling technology products or services or
equivalent certifications/college coursework. Experience using CRM
systems and various business software (CRM, Adobe, Microsoft Office
Suite, etc.). Ability to use common office equipment. Basic data
entry skills and the ability to execute instructions while seeking
clarification when needed. Competence in performing basic
mathematical calculations. Strong problem-solving, critical
thinking, and decision-making abilities. Attention to detail with
accuracy and efficiency. Clear communication skills, with the
ability to convey necessary information effectively. Proficiency in
English and other local/regional languages is beneficial. Ability
to interact effectively with management and colleagues at all
levels. Understanding and collaboration with individuals from
diverse identities and backgrounds. Skilled in negotiation and
persuasive communication. Strong organizational and time management
skills, with a commitment to completing tasks. Adaptability to
change and resilience under pressure. Commitment to social,
ethical, and organizational standards in all business activities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and
effectively multi-task. Respect for confidentiality of sensitive
information. Capacity to build solid, effective working
relationships with colleagues. Sensitivity to the needs, concerns,
and feelings of others. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to
new systems and technology. Basic proficiency in relevant computer
systems and applications. Ability to engage in phone conversations
(or use a headset) for extended periods. Awareness and alertness
