Job Description:
This Position is Subject to Contract Award JANUS Research Group
is currently seeking an Army Aviation SSO for a contract to support
the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8. The DCS G-8 is the principal
military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the
Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and
Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning,
Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8
coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition,
Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming
and process recommendations related to ongoing and future
acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The
DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program
funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization
enterprise. Qualifications: Have a foundational operational
experience in Army Aviation units from company to brigade level and
must be familiar with the types of equipment used in aviation units
Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to manage Army
Acquisition Category (ACAT) II and III Programs Have a foundational
level of operational and / or technical and educational experience
/ expertise in Combat, Combat Support, Combat Service Support, or
combined arms formations and procedures associated with these
tactical formations, synthetic training environments Expertise with
Force Development Human-Machine Integration (FDH) specific programs
to be supported. FDH specific programs can include, but are not
limited to, robotic combat vehicles, small Uncrewed Aircraft
Systems (sUAS), loitering munitions, robotics, modular mission
payloads, advanced autonomous behaviors, machine learning,
Artificial Intelligence, synthetic training devices, and networks
Active Secret security clearance Desired Qualifications: How the
Army Runs (HTAR) Course RQM 1010 / CLR 101: Introduction to JCIDS
Course RQM 1100 series / RQM 110: Core Concepts for Requirements
Management Course/Capabilities Development Course (CDC) RQM 3100 /
310: Advanced Concepts and Skills Course CLR 151: Analysis of

2520 / CLR 252: Developing Performance Attributes Salary : $120,000
