ResponsibilitiesCedar Hill Regional Medical Center - Opening in 2025!When open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years! This teaching hospital will integrate clinical care with existing providers, The George Washington University Hospital, and the Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This clinical integration will establish a robust system of care for all District residents, especially residents of Wards 7 and 8, ensuring access to high-quality care in their community.This full-service hospital will include 136 beds (expandable to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and delivery services, an ambulatory pavilion for physician offices and clinics, a community space, a 500-car garage, and a helipad for emergency transports.We are seeking a Director of Quality, Regulatory, Accreditation & Patient ExperienceThe Director will provide leadership and assume ultimate accountability for the department, implementing and coordinating hospital clinical and operational quality improvement programs. Ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines and monitors quality improvement programs throughout the hospital. Oversees the implementation of the accreditation plan to maintain continuous survey readiness and compliance with district and federal regulatory requirements. Knowledge or ability to determine hospital requirements for accreditations at an academic teaching hospital is required.     • 5-8 years in healthcare quality or related fields; 10+ years preferred
    • Experience with statistical, security adjustment, benchmarking software, and databases
    • Experience with regulatory and accreditation preparedness
    • Expertise in health and safety management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement methodologies
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, licensure, and accreditation bodies
    • Understanding of Performance Improvement and Outcomes ManagementSkills:
      • Expertise in CPI and process improvement
      • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
      • Confidentiality, effective communication, and group facilitation skills
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
