Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Virginia Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Richmond, Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 1:1 patient ratio in labor; every third weekend; 12 hours of call per 4-week schedule Highlights: 24-bed Maternal Infant Unit with high birth volumes and full-service obstetric care Comprehensive care including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, antepartum, newborn, and postpartum services EMR systems: Meditech and CPN; GE fetal monitoring equipment Supportive team environment with 71 staff members including dedicated OB techs, secretaries, leadership, and educators LDRP model with competitive patient ratios: labor 1:1, postpartum and nursery 5-6:1 Requirements: Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience required Current RN license eligible for Virginia practice BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required Experience in LDRP settings with high birth volumes strongly preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a well-established maternal-infant unit where you'll provide comprehensive obstetric care in a collaborative, resource-rich environment.
